Yesterday we were on the brink of getting a total of 200 downloads and today we hit it with a surprising 26 additional downloads (so far)!
We also hit a record-breaking number of downloads per week (50 so far) and are on a good trajectory to even more users. All without any major marketing efforts! You can get historical numbers in this spreadsheet.
After doing a bit of digging I found that the recent interest is likely explained by a software reviewer finding us. He seemed to like it, which makes us happy.
Beta 4 will soon be released, and once that’s done we think we’ll be in good shape to make a stable release and post to Hacker News and Reddit and hopefully get a lot more people interested our mission to record our lives without sacrificing privacy.
