Currently the activity tab shows different category usage for a specific day and total usage for different date as a bar chart on top. But I am more interested in observing my daywise usage for some specifc category. For example, like, how much I spent watching youtube or how much time I spent coding etc. Off course I can go to a particular date and check the usage but I want to know those category usage for different day in a bar/line chart.
This is one of my most wanted features as well.
I’ve actually already built tools that do exactly this but we’ve yet to build them into ActivityWatch (the curious can check out my QuantifiedMe repo on GitHub, but it’s not very user friendly).
I can’t say when it will happen, but it will, eventually 
it would be great to combine the category tree with the trend graphs to select or extend branches and view the trends as such
