Improvements to dark mode

Many people prefer dark mode (including me) for all their applications. However in activity watch dark mode is kind of a hassle because its strainful to read your activity (shown in white font) in front of a light background. If you dont get what i mean i’ll try to show it with the uploaded picture.

i think this might be an easy fix, to just make the background colors behind the text, darker so that its not a strain to read the activity… thank you.

Hi there. I’ve made a little user CSS to address this issue, since it still hasn’t been resolved.
You can use stylus addon to install it.

Note that it’s not a standalone dark theme, but just a few tweaks, so you still need to choose dark theme in activity watch settings. It’s not very nice approach, but I’m kinda too lazy to make a full theme rn
