iOS 15 introduces the Screen Share API, as well as support for Safari Web Extensions. Is it possible now to make an ActivityWatch app for iOS?

Unfortunately not. The new API does not let other applications retrieve the usage data, only manage restrictions.

Apple was very blatant in the announcement video for the API that “there is no way for anyone outside of your family, or even Apple, to know which websites you’ve visited, or which apps you’ve used”:

your good question and interesting information but i am not idea.

Although definitely limited, it does seem like the api allows for some info to be pulled.
Would be super interesting to have an IOS app with API integration as well. Any chance this could be built?
