Prioritizing a Background Window

Feature request: I’d love if I could check a particular window as active if it exists, overriding my actual active window.

In particular I’d like to set up /Zoom Meeting/; even if I happen to be looking at VSCode or Chrome for a few minutes, if Zoom Meeting is running, I want that time bucketed to my “Meetings” category, not my Browsing or Editor categories.

I find today, my “Meeting” time is severely underreported because I’m multi-tasking, but I want to weight the “meeting” time as heavier if it’s happening.

(Perhaps this implies some distinction that doesn’t exist today, between “active” and “running”.)

I have tried to implement it in https://github.com/AlexanderMakarov/activitywatch-ets but lost motivation. You may read details in README in repo and some information in Git, Jira, Outlook importers and separate way to categorize/aggregate events into activities
